For over a decade, Pet Festival Philippines has made Parkmall in Mandaue the beating heart of the Cebu pet community. The 2026 edition ran a full week, co-presented with the Island Rescue Organization (IRO), packing the mall's open-air walkways with breeders' showcases, rescue booths, hamster races, and nightly stage programs.
The emotional peak, as always, was the rescue fashion show — every model up for adoption. Formerly stray dogs strutted in tailored fits to a roaring crowd, and several found forever homes before the week was out. Parkmall remains the only BAI-accredited pet-safe mall in Cebu, so pets could roam the whole venue, not just one designated area.
